Daughters of Oman

The film is a journey through the Sultanate of Oman. It portrays the diversity of the country from the desert to mountain, city, and the blue water of Oman Sea. Villagers, bedews, city dwellers, and entrepreneurs from all walks of lives tell their stories through handicrafts and songs, giving us an insight of to the history, culture, and disparities of the country.

Director: In a small fishing town, a woman in the market gave me a shellfish as a souvenir, telling me: “Listen to it, you will hear my song, my love story. Remember me”. Thus, the film is the unheard stories of the unknown faces of Omani women.
